The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month, except January and August. At the Earlsdon Methodist Church ( read on for directions )We meet from 8pm until 10pm.
The club is open to ANYBODY and we are always welcoming new members. If you are a dedicated user, if you need help with your beloved computer or if you're just curious, then come along and visit us. I'm sure we can offer something for everyone.
In our meetings, members are encouraged to bring along their set up to show off their work or to share their knowledge and information (WARNING: ABSOLUTELY NO PIRACY !!!)
Every once in a while we invite guest speakers to talk about subjects that interest our members. In the past, talks have been given on multi media, Photogenics, the internet and more. Return visits have been planned from previous guests and, just recently, a forum has been opened for people to demonstrate their knowledge. A LIST has been drawn up and if any members feel they can deal with given issues then they may present us all with some useful info.
We are very easy to find, whether you live in Coventry or not. Very simply, we are minutes away from the town centre.
From the main ring road take exit 7, following the signs to Earlsdon. About a mile up the Albany Rd. there's a roundabout. Take the first exit (go left) and we're just around the corner on Earlsdon Avenue South. We're situated in the church hall, room 3 (normally). If that wasn't much help a Map is available. If that isn't any help either feel free to contact a member for more specific directions.
Note: If you bring your system with you ( wholly recommended! ) please bring, either an extension lead or a 4 way adapter as plug sockets are becoming scarse nowadays.
